Chemical Account Manager

Summary:

The Chemical Account Manager is responsible for collaborating with experienced field personnel to develop and deliver customized chemical solutions that enhance productivity and strengthen client relationships. This role requires in-depth knowledge of specialty chemical products used in oil and gas operations. The position may also involve chemical treatment of wells, troubleshooting, and minor maintenance activities.

Facilitate open communication with their fellow employees, clients, and community partners. Attend and participate in meetings, work groups, team meetings, committees, workshops, individual training, and training conferences and seminars when assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

·         Oversee or participate in daily operations to ensure scheduled chemical treatments are performed efficiently.

·         Provide outstanding customer service by answering inquiries, resolving field issues, and collaborating with clients to tailor treatment programs.

·         Apply comprehensive knowledge of specialty chemical products and their application in oil and gas production.

·         Monitor chemical inventory for accuracy and timeliness, resolving discrepancies to support accurate billing.

·         Prepare and present detailed customer reports, including program summaries, cost analysis, and failure investigations.

·         Represent Ute Energy in customer meetings and events, maintaining a professional presence.

·         Identify sales opportunities and coordinate with internal teams for follow-up.

·         Mentor junior team members and keep supervisors informed of progress.

·         Assist with operational reporting for management review.

·         Adhere to all DOT regulations related to this role.

 

Performs other duties as assigned and reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.

 

Qualifications

·         Proven ability to work successfully in a team environment.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience:

·         High school diploma or GED required.

·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience in chemical treatment within the oil industry.

·         Demonstrated leadership experience preferred (5+ years).

·         Solid understanding of chemical processes and field/yards operations.

·         Demonstrated success in customer service and client relationship management.

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

 

Employment Conditional upon the Results of the Following: 

•         Must be able to pass to preemployment drug testing and random drug testing throughout the employment period

•         Must possess a clean MVR and maintain throughout employment
