Summary:

The Chemical Technician should plan and schedule chemical deliveries to customers and align their daily, weekly, and monthly goals with the chemical supervisor.  This position makes deliveries and spot-checks with customers and equipment as needed.

 

Travel is a daily requirement.

Report to work at scheduled times and maintain acceptable attendance records as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

·         Deliver chemical services in a timely manner

·         Accurately complete chemical field and lab tests as required

·         Keep accurate records of all SDS’s and paperwork associated with each delivery

·         Set chemical flow rates and perform repairs on chemical injection pumps as needed

·         Assist with inventory control

·         Assist with warehouse cleaning and organization

 

Performs other duties as assigned, reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.

·         Ability to complete chemical lab tests and field tests

·         Strong organization skills

·         A sense of personal accountability for essential job functions.

·         Demonstrate success with a team approach

·         Ability to present professionalism to clients and co-workers

·         Strong writing and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience:

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         2 years’ experience driving and delivering chemical materials

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

·         CDL with Hazmat Endorsement required

·         Safe Land Training required (or willing to obtain upon hire)

 

Employment Conditional upon the Results of the Following: 

•         Must be able to pass to preemployment drug testing and random drug testing throughout the employment period

•         Must possess maintain a clean MVR throughout employment

•         Must be able to clear a pre-employment background check

 


Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
Class A license is required, CDL recommended

Employment Conditional upon the Results of the Following:
  • Must be able to pass to preemployment drug testing and random drug testing throughout the employment period

  • Must possess a clean MVR and maintain throughout employment
